I am a very polite and honest guy and easy to go by, one of my major faults is being hotheaded and short-tempered, and I have been accused of being racist many times because of my ultranationalistic views, but I consider myself a outmost humanist and naturalist that loves his creed and country more than others. Chess is my favourate mental game, I have been playing it for thirty years now, my major achievment in few tournaments I have participated was first place under-1800 section American open 1987 in Las Vegas, where I won 5000$ prize, yeh you are right that was delicious!! So as long as you don't step on my tail and hit my sensitive spots(being multinational of Iranian-American-Armenian)I will be playful and humourous and very nice guy to communicate!

Hovik2009: I think it will be the most probably 21.Nd4, so we have to play 21...b5 if there is not a better move out there

Sep-29-11 F Vallejo Pons vs Carlsen, 2011 (replies)

Hovik2009: I think Magnus definetely saw that after 30...Qd5 Knight is taking his bishop as any 1600 player could see that also, but he calculated that Paco can't do that because of 31...Rd2!! attacking black queen and f2 pawn for the mate on g2 next, unfortunantly for Magnus he didn't see ...

Sep-23-11 M Yudovich Sr. vs Ragozin, 1937 (replies)

Hovik2009: Man!, I found 32.Nf5 in half a minute and I chose it as the best move, ofcourse I didn't calculate everything down to the ending, but that weak backrank gave me all the hope and lightening that I am in right path!

Sep-05-11 Carlsen vs Aronian, 2011 (replies)

Hovik2009: During the game I thought 28...Be7(making room for the pawn), 29...Qb7(preparing killer battery of queen and bishop on h1-a8 diagonal to attack the white king), 30...f6(releasing the knight by defending e5 pawn and make room for the same knight on f7), 31...Nd8(as said intending ...

Sep-03-11 Botvinnik Memorial Rapid (2011) (replies)

Hovik2009: Bravo Aronian, he destroyed Carlsen's pride with black pieces while he gave the kid two odds of exchange and Magnus never could breath freely for a moment and never had a chance to give his pair of lame rooks any room to move. Memorable game!
