Rating: very low 1300s (P)

I rarely play online anymore, but you might find me on Playchess as InfinityCircuit

I recently read Igor Khmelinisky's Chess Exam and Training book and it placed my rating at 1851. However, I doubt that this is accurate. I'm much more of a patzer than that!

If you want any analysis using computer programs on games, contact me at infinitycircuit(at)gmail.com and I'll see if I can help you.

*Kibitz has the accent on the 'kib' not on the 'itz'! It is therefore pronounced KIBH itz.

*And Francisco Vallejo-Pons is Spanish in origin, so it is pronounced 'va-YAY-ho'!

Dec-03-06 Kramnik vs Deep Fritz (2006) (replies)

InfinityCircuit: <Not with all the bad publicity of his match with Topalov in which he cheated so openly with his restroom visits.> What an excellent claim to supplement the assertion in your post. Kramnik will not win tomorrow. There is no incentive for Chessbase to let that happen, ...

InfinityCircuit: Have you read Anarchy, State, and Utopia by Nozick or The Tragedy of Great Power Politics by Mearscheimer?

InfinityCircuit: Thanks Ray! I appreciate it.

   Nov-08-06 Grigory Miasoedov

InfinityCircuit: This player and G. Myasojedow (alt. spelling Myasoyedov) are one and the same. It's probably just bad luck that his one brilliant draw is the one excluded from a group of otherwise uncompromising losses.

   Nov-05-06 Karpov vs Smejkal, 1977

InfinityCircuit: According to my database Smejkal lost on time.

InfinityCircuit: <whytenite> Just because we cannot resolve whether 1. d4 or 1. e4 is better does not deny the legitimacy of the question either.

   Nov-02-06 Silvio Danailov (replies)

InfinityCircuit: I think the greatest indicator of Danailov's instability is his constantly shifting arguments--he now says Fritz 10, instead of Fritz 9, he changes his explanations of why he asks for things, etc.

Oct-29-06 Fischer vs Tal, 1962 (replies)

InfinityCircuit: Israel Gelfer calls this game Fischer's greatest achievement in the endgame. In particular, he notes how Fischer gets himself into position before trying to exchange rooks, maximizing his winning chances. 63. a3 is the beautiful finishing touch.

   Sep-30-06 Flohr vs Ragozin, 1939

InfinityCircuit: Does anyone know if this is the mysterious game that Burt Hochberg cut from Reuben Fines' The Middlegame in Chess?
