My favorite players are Emanuel Lasker, Bobby Fischer, Alexander Alekhine, Jose Capablanca, and Paul Morphy and my playing style is similar to theirs except for the fact that they were good ;)!

James Demery: Silman is a great writer. I love the way he twists off on some of his students. Sometimes he`s downright rude. Its hilarious. I wish there were more of his games here.

James Demery: Hi Eric. l was curious why didnt u become a GM? l dont mean that in a hateful way l mean it more like why do some people become GM's and others dont? Do they have a knowledge of chess that u lack? U have PhD so obviously u have more than enough intelligence. Did u not have ...

   Apr-20-15 Robert James Fischer (replies)

James Demery: Joshka I have to disagree with u about Lasker. He was absolutely at the level of Capa, Alekhine and Fischer. He was World Champion longer than the three of them combined. I must agree with u about Fischer though. An absolutely fantastic player that generated more interest in ...
