Oct-09-14 Szily vs Wloch, 1943 (replies)

Jausch46: A witty trap prepared by Szily! Very clever.

Oct-02-14 Judit Polgar vs Szendrei, 1984 (replies)

Jausch46: After 21....Qxf6, is not 22. Bg5 the best option? The black Qeen has nos safe place to go. The only free place for she is g7, but after 23. Be7 there is curtains.

   Aug-31-14 A Moiseenko vs Y Kuzubov, 2008 (replies)

Jausch46: Morphishine is a very reliable puzzle-solver, I always like to see at his precise calculations. I thought as well that Qf8 should be the solution, and looked not further, because it equalizes at least. Of course Bg5 is much better. A Trophy for Morphishine!

   Aug-20-14 A Dimitrijevic vs M Sebag, 2004 (replies)

Jausch46: I just realized a failure in my line of argumentation, because 25. ... Qe3 + is not possible. The Queen must first take the Knight on f3. So much about the usefulness of complicated variations: You may always commit calculation errors. Black wins anyway, but with more effort than ...

Aug-15-14 FIBChess vs Falcon, 2004 (replies)

Jausch46: Once, I enjoyed Your utmost witty conribution. You cleared the main points and this with fine humour.

   Aug-14-14 Nakamura vs M Waxman, 1999 (replies)

Jausch46: The end position after 31. Nf5 is itself a nice puzzle. My guess for continuation is 31. ...Qf8, 32. Bxd6. If Nxd6, 33. Qxd7#. If black Qxg7, then Nxg7 mates. Other moves lead to the loss of Blacks Queen.

Apr-30-14 Carlsen vs Caruana, 2014 (replies)

Jausch46: I thought 37. Rd5 could have been a quicker win for Carlsen. Am I mistaken? How can then Black defend the h5 pawn? If Ne5, then 38. Nf7+, Nxf7. 39. Rxh5+ and tha Black Queen falls.

   Apr-29-14 A van Weersel vs D Schut, 2007

Jausch46: 35. Rf5 with a double attack on the black Q and B would not have lead to an easier win? Black is very resourceful in his counter-attacks, and makes white very busy finding the right defence. An interesting game anyway.

   Dec-28-13 V Neverov vs S Bogdanovich, 2013 (replies)

Jausch46: Sorry, I chose the wrong word, not apprehendable, but reprehensible.

Oct-25-13 Robert E Byrne vs Gligoric, 1963 (replies)

Jausch46: Thank You, Patriot for Your valuable comment. I learned a lot from this interestng game.
