I'm a novice to chess. Nice to meet you guys!

Jun-22-18 Carlsen vs Aronian, 2018 (replies)

KSchlecher: I'm still hoping for the game between Aronian and Kramnik in the Candidates Tounament to be GOTD... But this one is also an phenomenal game as well!

   Jun-11-18 Tal vs Panno, 1958

KSchlecher: Great game played by Tal! I thought that after Tal lost so many materials, it was an easy win to snatch for Panno... But the evaluation showed white's better after 24. Rxd4, and the sole Queen to save the day. what an intense game it was!

Mar-25-18 World Championship Candidates (2018) (replies)

KSchlecher: I only have a stong impression of Karjakin's mastery of blitz game, but now this blitz master is on the brink of winning another candidates tournament! Good luck Sergey!

   Mar-09-18 Robert James Fischer (replies)

KSchlecher: This man got more people over the world to learn playing chess, and actually made chess a more common pastime to many people. Like myself, I wouldn't be playing chess but for his triumph over Mr.Spassky. Thank you Bobby, happy birthday.

   Jan-25-18 Kasparov vs Y Habu, 2014

KSchlecher: Uhh... Was Kasparov actually a 2800 player in 2014 or now? I think his chess skills inevitably waned, maybe 2750 or higher would be more accurate? The 2812 has stagnated for a long time...

   Jan-16-18 A Giri vs Carlsen, 2018 (replies)

KSchlecher: I think Carlsen always has difficulty playing against Giri...Maybe it's just my fancy..but still

   Jan-07-18 Morphy vs T Knight, 1856 (replies)

KSchlecher: Always wonder how could masters like Morphy sacrifice their materials so confidently and then turned out mate. It's like Morphy had had the mating blueprints, and his opponent just stepped right into his scheme... He exploited the value of each piece so incredibly well.

   Dec-12-17 Caruana vs I Nepomniachtchi, 2017 (replies)

KSchlecher: Is there any way to avoid losing queen after Qf7? BTW Congratulates on Caruana's victory.
