PeterJ: At the end 24...Re1+ will force an endgame e.g. 25 Kd2, Re2 26 Ke2, Qe6+ although still winning for white suggests that he could have done better.
   Aug-02-16 V Stepovoj vs E Chasovnikova, 1996 (replies)
PeterJ: Actually Be5 is the most fun after f6,gf if either capture on g3 then f7 and Ng6 mate
   Jun-12-16 Korchnoi vs S Nedeljkovic, 1957 (replies)
PeterJ: Quiet move 32 Bf6 also wins simply 32 - rg7 33 Rg6 will transpose if 33 - Ne8 but other moves e.g. 33 - Rg6 allow mate in a few moves
   Apr-02-16 P K Wells vs V Priehoda, 1992 (replies)
PeterJ: Got this. A really nice one for a hard position - some beauty and depth to the combination but not so complex that there is no real definition of where the fireworks start or clear forcing sequences as in some of the end of week puzzles.
Jan-02-16 Kramnik vs Nakamura, 2014 (replies)
PeterJ: Interesting comments and an instructive game but why set it as a hard end of week puzzle? Bf5 is a rather obvious strong natural continuation which wins the h pawn in 2 further moves.
