Philistine: This was a pretty convincing win by Aronian. I think Gelfand was at a disadvantage out of the opening. Very nice combination at the end and I really like 17 Ra4.

Philistine: I think Nakamura will have a plus score in this tournament. I think he can draw the top four and beat some of the Brits. He just needs to not try too hard for a win against Carlsen. Settle for a draw and take points from the small fish.

Philistine: I'm currently listening to anna sharevich sing a duet on youtube. It is terrible but amusing. As a commentator she tends to be the butt of all the jokes, as dry as they are, of what's his name who knows something about chess.
