   Oct-24-08 Anand-Kramnik World Championship Match (2008) (replies)

RubinsteinAK: Qc4 by black is curious. I would have thought Qc5 to get on the diagonal to get back to the k-side and challenge the white queen. The only thing I can see with Qc4 is the pseudo-threat of Rd3, threatening Rxc3.

Dec-05-07 World Chess Cup (2007) (replies)

RubinsteinAK: Twinlark, I have no idea what a "Candidates Match-Tournament" is. You either have one or the other. Regarding chess history as it relates to the world championship cycle, prior to 1963-1966 cycle, the Zonal, Interzonal, and Candidates were are played in multi-round robin ...

RubinsteinAK: Qg6+ doesn't do anything.

RubinsteinAK: gala? What does Rybka say is the idea for Shirov to win?? Aronian looks to be set for victory

Nov-01-06 Kramnik vs Deep Fritz (2006) (replies)

RubinsteinAK: Arno Nickel is 2-0 versus Hydra. True, they were correspondence games, but still, that's pretty impressive. I took a look at his position "against the World," and I didn't really care for black.

RubinsteinAK: GM Keene: Thanks for putting out a book on Petrosian. It's still not out in the USA (I guess), but I'm definitely looking forward to getting it. All of the other Petrosian books are out of print, and the used copies are ridiculously expensive. How would you say your book ...

   Oct-08-06 Kramnik-Topalov World Championship Match (2006) (replies)

RubinsteinAK: LOL. Now the Rook an a1 is quite nicely placed. 24. Ra7 Bxb5 24. axb5 Qxb5 25. Qxb5 Rxb5 26. Ra2!

   Oct-07-06 Vladimir Kramnik (replies)

RubinsteinAK: you here, winter1963?

   Mar-14-06 Veselin Topalov (replies)

RubinsteinAK: All of this bickering only proves that a match is needed to solve this impasse. What I want to know is where Schiller found out that the match is in 2007, when the Kramnik interview mentions September 2006, specifically. Do you have another source, Schiller? 2007 actually makes

   Mar-11-06 Vallejo-Pons vs Topalov, 2006 (replies)

RubinsteinAK: What was Radjabov thinking taking such an early draw? He could have won this tournament!
