Sassa: Wonderful puzzle! Also, itīs funny to see that the black Rook, Knight and Bishop still are on their initial position by the move 21!

   Jan-12-12 Botvinnik vs G Stepanov, 1930 (replies)

Sassa: Although I should have learned with yesterdayīs puzzle, I was too focused on finding the mate line. I couldnīt solve this one.

   Jan-11-12 E Paoli vs Ulf Andersson, 1973 (replies)

Sassa: I have to get more used to theses puzzles! I was looking only for a mate in few moves and after a long time looking for the position, I gave up! Didnīt realize the Queen could be easily captured!

   Jan-10-12 J Bittencourt vs G Vescovi, 2009 (replies)

Sassa: 32. ... Rc1+ 33. Rxc1 Bxd4+ 34. Qxd4 Qxd4+ winning a Queen. I took a while to solve it because I was looking for mate! Iīm also glad to see a game from the Brazilian Championship being used here!

Sassa: 31. Qxf7 Kxf7 32. Rf1+ (… Qf2 33. Rxf2+ Rf5 34. Rxf5++) Nice Monday puzzle. Got it right!

   Jan-06-12 Duras vs H Wolf, 1907 (replies)

Sassa: 38. Rf4 Qe7 39. Qd7 Got it right! Iīm glad I could solve a "difficult" rated puzzle!

   Jan-05-12 P Popovic vs D Rajkovic, 1980 (replies)

Sassa: Well, I first got the right idea (Rxf6), but then I thought Qd1+ would be a problem, until I realized Kf2 was fine. But then again I figured out white could trade Q for two R. It means I couldnīt solve this one, because I didnīt see the line played where only one white Rook was traded

   Jan-04-12 K Chernyshov vs A Lesiak, 1969 (replies)

Sassa: Thank you all for the answers! I realy have to expand the way I see the board!
