Silverstrike: There is no kibitzing for this page, yet.

   Jun-05-09 K Chernyshov vs P Haba, 2000

Silverstrike: Lack of time perhaps. Or wrong score?

Silverstrike: <Acirce> Your handle - I suppose I could have made that clearer :P

   May-05-09 J D Schwartz vs R Birkett, 2005 (replies)

Silverstrike: I might have been glancing through Botterill's "Open Gambits" while playing this (a book of Richard's) so I'm not sure whether picked up an idea or two from that book, inadvertanly or otherwise (though I doubt the latter) - if so, that would make the ethics of this game ...

   May-03-09 M-Tel Masters (2009) (replies)

Silverstrike: Forgive my ignorance, but is this still a no-draws tournament?

   Apr-16-09 Richard Birkett

Silverstrike: Richard has done brilliantly these past few seasons, and is now rated around 2160. I hope to give a few of his wins against me, of which he has many (more than I have against him!)

   Apr-03-09 Reshevsky vs J Benjamin, 1979 (replies)

Silverstrike: <AnalyzeThis> It looks good in principle: rook behind the passed pawn and all that. Perhaps white could swing his rook over to e4 and march his king up the board via f4?

   Apr-03-09 Sax vs Nunn, 1977

Silverstrike: <somitra> :P

Silverstrike: *handshake* A great game, and I don't feel that you're rubbing it in in the least - indeed ...Nh4 is a pretty move. It's an interesting opening and an interesting game; I'm interested on what lies beneath the stones that strong analysis will upturn. Let me know when you're up ...

   Mar-19-09 E Hearst vs S Wachs, 1954 (replies)

Silverstrike: I'm interested by white's play on the g-file; at first it appeared to be running into a brick wall but it came through eventually. Perhaps the advance of black's f pawn is to blame?
