Sleepyworker: As the saying goes: "Good thing he is checkmated, because he's about to lose his queen!"...or something close to that...
| | Dec-10-08 Bastrikov vs L Shamkovich, 1958
| |
Sleepyworker: I think almost every tactics chess book has this position in it.

| | Aug-29-08 Tal Memorial (2008)
| |
Sleepyworker: Moro's stock is plumeting... :(
| | Aug-21-08 Lutikov vs Tal, 1964
| |
Sleepyworker: This one was rather easy for a Thursday...
| | Aug-15-08 A Lukin vs Balashov, 1967
| |
Sleepyworker: I get no points since I remember this game...it was in either The Art of Attack or Think Like a Grandmaster...can't recall which one I saw it in -.-
| | Dec-14-07 Kamsky vs Shirov, 2007
| |
Sleepyworker: If Kamsky runs out of time it will be a very sad ending to the game -.-
| | Jul-26-07 Nakamura vs Fressinet, 2004
| |
Sleepyworker: It's not really the Scotch, it's the 2 Knight defense...I think it's more funny someone at that level messed up in the opening like that...because in my opinion 5..d5 is the best move for black. A good game by Nakamura.
