Sparky123: 40? White up a piece. First thing i saw was 40 Rxg6+ which discovers an attack on the black queen. But the black queen is defended. So to lure it to an undefended position... 40 Bd7 Qd8 (or Qf8) looked at some attacks with Rxg6+ and Qh3, with Be6, but found nothing there. Best ...

Sparky123: 26 Qxg6 hxg6. Else black is down a piece 27 Rf3 threatens Rh3 mate. Nothing black can do to block the a2-g8 diagonal. Easier than yesterday's long puzzle :)

Mar-02-09 N Sakr vs Ali Atwi, 2001 (replies)

Sparky123: Good things it's monday! seen something familiar before, so here goes 26 Qxc8+ Nxc8 27 Rxc8+ Kh7 R+N+2P vs Q is probably winning, but just to make it clear... 28 Rh8+! Kxh8 29 Nxf7+ forking K & Q, K moves 30 Nxe6 up a N and pawns.
