I am from Liverpool, England. I play in the local Merseyside league and as much county and national Chess as I can. I don't have an ELO rating - my BCF grade is around 110 this season. Hopefully I'll have an ELO soon, once I play in Gibraltar 2006!

My favourite player is Boris Spassky for I like his attitude, his opening choices and his style of play.

Currently reading "600 Endgames" by Portisch and Szabo which is very instructive and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Stefan Lukke: <we may be in line to share some secrets!?> Smart idea. That is a good idea methinks as long as our analysis evades notation such as nyuk nyuk nyuk! ;-D Later.

Stefan Lukke: <hayton3> you gave good concrete constructive criticism I thought. I employ the French although I don't personally admire the line in this game. I much prefer the set-up <Rama> suggested. Also after an ...f6 is played in French Advance positions White can allow ...

Stefan Lukke: ughaibu, page 30 - 33ish would definately be a good chapter. What a ding dong slanging match that was! I am astonished. %-) What would it be titled though?? How about "Bobby Fischer Kibitzers go to war"! See you later, time to go to the Chess Club.
