hello!

i don' t really know how you've gotten here, 'cause i barely send a post... :) it is because unfortunately i'm not that good at chess, but i like this game very much. even if you don't see me posting, i'm often here watching the "big boys" playing.

as you may have discovered, english is not my native language, but i'm developing quickly like penguins at flying... :)

oh, and before forgetting it:
happy easter / christmas / ramadan / hanukkah / kwanzaa / independence day for all of you, who's reading this page! (please underline as appropriate)

Styutyi: <Elixir of Life: What's idea of Bg1?> it seems that the idea was not to cover the rook after 17Rae1. but i might be wrong with it.

Styutyi: <tal lover: Does anyone knows if this tournment is played with players totally blind or if it is played like in Amber with the sight of the board but no pieces?> according to the photo on the official site, they only have a keyboard for entering the moves, but no board. ...

Styutyi: <zluria: Carlsen looks better to me. He plays Qd8 and if 16. Nc8 then Ra8 17. Nxd6 Qxd6 18.Qxb7 Rfb8 19. Qc6 Qxc6 20. Rxc6 Rxb7 21. a4 Ra2 22. a5 Bd3 with a small plus for black.> I don't think so. After 17. Nxd6 Qxd6 18. Bb4!

Styutyi: I think Lékó's trying to show the world, that he's not "Drawko" any more. This is why he didn't play a game in a 4-month-long period. He has to show us something after missing the olympiad. Well, that's why I'm pretty sure, he doesn't want a quick draw.

Styutyi: <acirce> my KnightX also says it's not Lékó's game... Even if Adam's h8 rook is closed. I was shocked by the opening, it was quite a "strange" one...
