The Boomerang: " Jan-15-18 Kapmigs: so the theory is what they do not expose here could have won them games?" Possibly, who knows. I think its more to surprise the opponent, get then into an uncomfortable and unfimiliar position. I know if I was playing in the candidates id be hiding ...

The Boomerang: Great game to beat Caruana! Congrats!

   Jan-04-18 Magnus Carlsen (replies)

The Boomerang: You can trash talk all you want against Carlsen, umfortunately your moves need to do the talking. And in speed chess no one is close to Carlsen. The guy is a beast.

Dec-25-17 Karpov - Spassky Candidates Semifinal (1974) (replies)

The Boomerang: You'de right Petrosianic, Spassky played much better 11-21. It's like Spassky calmed down and his real strength came out. If you look at the score for the second half its 2-1 wins for Fischer. I think Karpov would have been a handful for Bobby in the 1975 match.

Dec-25-17 Fischer - Spassky World Championship Match (1972) (replies)

The Boomerang: "Bobby stated several times, her was just trying to pump up publicity for the match, since FIDE buried it in Iceland." The match wasnt really well known all over the world at the start of the match?

   Dec-21-17 Efim Geller

The Boomerang: Dominated Fischer...are rare feat.

Nov-24-17 Carlsen - Karjakin World Championship (2016) (replies)

The Boomerang: "For the second time in chess history we could have gotten a World Champion that did so without properly beating the previous one in a classical match (had Gelfand or Karjakin prevailed in the quick game tiebreakers)." You forgot about Kramnik-Topalov 2006.
