The Kings Domain
Member since Sep-03-15 · Last seen Jun-22-17
Hello. Long time chess lover here and a long time member of Chessgames (I used the nic "Nightwalk"), to me the best site on Caissa on the net. I look forward to playing and analyzing the wealth and history the illustrious game has to offer on this warm and attractive site, and I equally look forward to having good discussions with other like-minded individuals here.

Jun-21-17 Speelman vs Kudrin, 1983 (replies)
The Kings Domain: Clever li'l miniature.
   Jun-21-17 M Pantzar vs T Rodshtein, 2016 (replies)
The Kings Domain: Nice puzzle and good game. The last move was a nice touch.
   Jun-18-17 C Chaplin vs Reshevsky, 1923 (replies)
The Kings Domain: Fun game. Chaplin was a decent amateur, he held up well against the master. One wonders why he resigned, perhaps shooting had to resume and he had to drop the game. :-)
   Jun-16-17 Veselin Topalov (replies)
The Kings Domain: Topalov should play as best as he can and reach the top 10 like his peer Kramnik. He should give himself a few more years in professional Chess and do as well as he can in that span of time.
Jun-16-17 Topalov vs Kasparov, 1994 (replies)
The Kings Domain: Missed this one, too focused on the rooks. Nice win by Topalov, must have dented Kasparov's Antarctic-sized ego to an amusing degree.
   Jun-16-17 Fischer vs R W Moore, 1961 (replies)
The Kings Domain: I really like that f5 move by Fischer when he plays white. Very beneficial and advantageous. Black played well here, always one step ahead of the great. Fischer must have been in a daze by then or pissed that he wasn't steamrolling his opponent, his last move was an ...
   Jun-12-17 Shirov vs J Lapinski, 1990
The Kings Domain: Very impressive Anderssen-like win. Even the ending looks like the one in the "Immortal".
   Jun-11-17 Steinitz vs F Burden, 1862 (replies)
The Kings Domain: Good game from the olden days, well played by black with a nice exquisite finish. Sometimes the best puns are the most glaringly obvious ones. :-)
Jun-11-17 Aronian vs Carlsen, 2017 (replies)
The Kings Domain: Impressive victory by Aronian, this is the kind of standout play that is frequently needed nowadays to justify these top GMs status.
Jun-08-17 Altibox Norway (Blitz) (2017) (replies)
The Kings Domain: Good and consistent play by Carlsen on a decent tournament.
