Mar-12-18 Aronian vs Kramnik, 2018 (replies)
The17thPawn: Aronian had to know 24...Bd5 was curtains for him. My evil side thinks he played on as to not lose in a miniature with the white pieces and in the Candidates no less.
   Mar-07-18 V Gashimov vs Anastasian, 2003
The17thPawn: Does 32. Bb5 offer white better chances?
   Mar-06-18 E Najer vs A Rychagov, 2007
The17thPawn: Impressive defense that was seemlessly shifted to offense. Najer couldnt grab the initiative but Rychagov had no such problem. Have to look at more of this guys games.
   Jan-06-18 R Loetscher vs M Bluebaum, 2016 (replies)
The17thPawn: On 28.Rg1 I though ...Qg4 did the trick.
   Aug-12-16 Svidler vs W So, 2016 (replies)
The17thPawn: <Knight 13> Thank You
   Aug-08-16 Dragutin Sahovic
The17thPawn: Sad that so few of his games are represented here.
Aug-02-16 Smyslov vs Ribli, 1983 (replies)
The17thPawn: Smyslov's disassembly of blacks position is very impressive. Several times I thought the attack had stalled but Smyslov had the answer.
   Jul-30-16 Pavel Dimitrov vs V Belov, 2008
The17thPawn: Never seen Napoleon's opening eschewed at this level. Was an interesting game to play through.
   Jul-28-16 Smirin vs A Korobov, 2016
The17thPawn: Really energetic game by Korobov. Everytime white seems to be gathering himself another hammer stroke falls.
Jul-25-16 Dus Chotimirsky vs Capablanca, 1925 (replies)
The17thPawn: <morfishine> -Well it's obviously a play on Whose Your Daddy. Not the most highbrow effort but certainly not the most offensive play on words I've read.
