I was born in 1973. I live in Perpignan (south of France). I've been playing chess for 20 years but never seriously. I would like to improve but lack of time is a great problem.

My english is far from being fluent, so accept my apologise...

Valmy: In Japan they play GO and SHOGI, they are way more popular than chess. There are many tournaments, with very high money prices, comparated to chess.

Valmy: <Overgood> I am sorry but you said you evaluated your rating around 2100. You didn't talk about 1200. So I think that if you are 2100 FIDE without having playing a single OTB game, you are a kind of chess genius.

Valmy: Well <DIO> the bishop in french is " fou" which means, in this context, "jester", and not madmen or crazy

Valmy: <redshield> If you associate Basques with Barcelona, then you should review your geography.

Valmy: The most disturbing here is that the tournament standings shows KARPOV won the tournament while BACROT won.
