Brazilian, living in Salvador, Bahia.
44 years old.
I am married and have a seven-year-old son.

I do not have an official chess rating.

Besides chess, my personal interests are computer technology, scuba diving, bike, Formula 1, movies, philosophy and psychology.

My nickname, "Waitaka", is from a tribe of native Indian warriors from Brazil, aka Goitaca, extinct at the seventeenth century. They were reported as excellent warriors, never surrendering, and never losing a battle.

You can contact me by e-mail by waitaka(at)chess.com

Waitaka: <kutztown46: I also like three days per move best.> I agree. It is my opinion that the World did draw against Pogonina because of the one day per move pace. I am pretty confident that if we had three days per move, we would win.

Waitaka: <morfishine: Thank you sir for participating in this game vs the WT. In my view, the result is secondary to the benefit of lessons learned.> I second that! Thank you, Mr. Akobian.
