I live in Offenbach; Germany.
I like to see good games.

   Aug-09-19 A J van den Hoek vs Euwe, 1942

Wolfgang01: Nice combination after 22. Qg5??

   Aug-09-19 Euwe vs A J van den Hoek, 1942

Wolfgang01: Suddenly the pawns go crazy and become very quick!

   Apr-13-19 Teichmann vs Duras, 1912

Wolfgang01: With 38. Qf3 white should win. White obvious lost his focus in the game. 38. h4 and 39. Rb1 turned the game to blacks favour. Who knows, why Teichmann suddenly plundered?

   Jul-10-18 T van Scheltinga vs C B van den Berg, 1950

Wolfgang01: Chess seems so easy

Dec-12-16 Mayet vs Harrwitz, 1848 (replies)

Wolfgang01: This trap is 168 years old! Great!

May-12-15 Polugaevsky vs Geller, 1968 (replies)

Wolfgang01: Here's another ending like that from Kasparov: Kasparov vs Fritz, 1992

   Feb-09-14 N Dzagnidze vs Adams, 2013 (replies)

Wolfgang01: I found 1. ... Nfxd5.

May-15-12 Gelfand vs Anand, 2012 (replies)

Wolfgang01: Boris must win at last one game. If all games become draw, Vishi did defend his title ... :-)

   Oct-29-09 17th European Team Championship (2009) (replies)

Wolfgang01: Hello CG.Com: When I select 17th European Team Championship (Women), the Linkt is tied to the men. Can this be changed?

   Oct-28-09 Larsen vs E Torre, 1987 (replies)

Wolfgang01: The question is: How should black continue? Obviously should black sacrifice the exchange on f5! After that the position is cramped and with highly chance the game would be drawn. Since black didn't choose that continuation, he lost!
