Good luck at Foxwoods. I'm learning from this game as well. Thanks.

Apr-05-07  nasmichael: Chessfriend Yury, I am very pleased to see you at the board here. Greetings from Atlanta, Georgia. Enjoyed your presence at Emory Castle last year. Stopped by so I could show Carolina the gamescore next week when we're back in class. Enjoy Foxwoods.

juan31: Congratulations G.M. Shulman , I am a chess fan without ranking ( even, never I have been in a tournament) , I don’t now exactly when begin the use of programs –software- ( engines, etc.) to “ help” “ support ” “ give a orientation ”, to play chess. ( I suppose , begin around the last of 50s ). I have confidence that in this game the Shine of the Minds of both sides was the First ingredient.
Apr-08-07  MrSpock: Hello Mr. Shulman

Greatings from Zürich/Switzerland and thank you very much for playing against the world team :-)))

Apr-09-07  Deep Breath: Dear GM Shulman,

Several members of the world team have stated in our private forum that they would like to thank you for continuing our game during your recent play in the Foxwoods Open. We know you could have taken a week off as allowed under the rules of our game. We respect your effort and commitment to us and our game.

I, for one, enjoyed following your games at Foxwoods in real time throughout the tournament. (Well maybe not when, against Gm Izoria, you played 40.Qg3 rather than 40.Ne4! <g> Your play that game was especially fun to watch. Like any sports fan rooting for his team, I wanted you to get your deserved win.)

Thanks again.

Apr-15-07  Elixir of Life: <Deep Breath> said it all. I really thank you for being so committed to our game! It really means a lot to us!!

Jul-07-07  Thursday: GM Shulman,

I was more an observer than a player during the game, but I'd still like to add my thanks to the general chorus. It's been an honor and a privilege.

Jul-07-07  Boomie: Thank you for taking time away from your busy schedule to play with us. Hopefully the game will add something to opening theory.

I really enjoyed observing and voting in this game, thanks for that. From our move 33 ... Be6 on I saw our advantage growing, but I kept somehow hoping for a miraculous escape for you (though I did not see one). Would have been a nice ending too.

Jul-07-07  Deep Breath: Dear GM Shulman,

Thank you for giving us the opportunity of playing you and for your dedication to our game.

You forced many of us to learn more about chess. I know my love and understanding of chess has increased greatly thanks to working with our team and playing this game.

Best wishes.

We look forward to hearing your analysis.
