   Jan-30-18 Boris Spassky (replies)

ZonszeinP: Happy birthday! May you live until 120!

Jan-11-18 Fischer - Spassky World Championship Match (1972) (replies)

ZonszeinP: I've seen that video before. I enjoy the lady on the left. Always laughing. She's the best part of the video. Mr Fischer could be a very charming person. I wish I could have spoken with him (or rather listen to him) talking about chess. (Only about Chess)

   Dec-25-17 USSR Championship (1969) (replies)

ZonszeinP: I found it! Page 350: "I was then taken to Moscow, and the day for the operation was named. Then I found out that for six to eight weeks after it I would be confined to bed. Meanwhile the Championship of the Soviet Union would have started......and I decided to put off the ...

   Dec-25-17 Karpov - Spassky Candidates Semifinal (1974)

ZonszeinP: 1974, 1984, 1994 ...were great years for Karpov He beat Polugaevsky, Spassky and Korchnoi becoming the WC challenger in a cicle that was not "his" .... He was destroying Kasparov by the end of the year (although, I said to one of my teachers: Kasparov will win in the end.

Dec-18-17 Spassky vs Fischer, 1972 (replies)

ZonszeinP: Real chess is a real conversation

   Dec-10-17 USSR Championship (1965)

ZonszeinP: They were focused on their candidate matches. That was their main event that year

   Dec-10-17 Spassky vs Petrosian, 1975

ZonszeinP: Hello, One of the problems we have here is that it appears that the game is not correctly annotated to the end. Spassky's last move was Na6 (rather than Ne6. Which probably also wins!) Black is paralysed. This is a brilliant game by Spassky. And settles the "issue" between ...

   Dec-03-17 Spassky vs Gligoric, 1978

ZonszeinP: Karpov certainly played brillianter against Spassky than in any match against Korchnoi

   Dec-03-17 Petrosian vs Fischer, 1971

ZonszeinP: By the 6th game, specially for the resumption, it was already Petrosian the one who had the flu. We know very well that these things are contagious Who knows what to believe nowadays

   Dec-03-17 USSR Championship (1956)

ZonszeinP: Not even Botvinnik did that
