   Oct-11-19 V Gashimov vs Korchnoi, 2008 (replies)

amateur05: Impressive game!

   Jul-23-19 A Lesiege vs S Conquest, 2000 (replies)

amateur05: <ThornPawnFan> I missed that line. Yes, at the end of it the f pawn is unstoppable.

Jul-17-19 Karpov vs Lautier, 1992 (replies)

amateur05: Beautifully simple

May-29-19 FIDE Grand Prix Moscow (2019) (replies)

amateur05: The best blitz player secured a place in the candidates tournament for classical chess championship. They should sack the FIDE guy who came up with this brilliant idea.

   May-03-19 A Shimanov vs R Rapport, 2012 (replies)

amateur05: Is this a puzzle?

Jan-11-19 AlphaZero vs Stockfish, 2018 (replies)

amateur05: The pointless wandering of the black king between moves 52 and 256 shows the difference between a computer and a human brain.

   Dec-18-18 AlphaZero (Computer) (replies)

amateur05: I find these alphazero games more interesting than any of the recent games played by the super-grandmasters including the recent WCCs.

Nov-26-18 Carlsen - Caruana World Championship Match (2018) (replies)

amateur05: Even if Carlsen wins the tiebreak, and i am sure he will, it would be a joke to crown him as the world champion in classical chess. The format of the wcc should change: for example, the player who wins 3 games (in classical chess!) should become the champion.

   Sep-17-18 A H T dos Santos Fier vs K Leenhouts, 2017 (replies)

amateur05: Is it me or the puzzles have become too difficult/unclear recently?

   Mar-27-18 Levon Aronian (replies)

amateur05: <ChessHigherCat> It's bad luck to pose with a dictator and his wife. Aronian's wife is already a government adviser. He may soon follow suit.
