Hello all , CG is indeed one of the coolest chess sites . I am casual chess fan from India though I dont deny being obsessed by chess at times ! I used to play actively under the handle RahulDravid in Fics but now am trying to play less and watch more super GM games ... will try to get back to chess when I have more leisure time !

   Aug-11-18 Adams vs N Carton, 1987 (replies)
anandrulez: <outplayer: 39.Bg6 is elegant. Probably Adams decided to sacrifice the exchange because f5-bishop is very dangerous. Could someone use Rybka or Fritz 9 to calculate the consequences of 28.Ra1?> Times have changed. You mean Komodo or Stockfish?!

anandrulez: Sorry to hear about the loss. RIP Daniel Freeman. Thanks for all your contributions. is one of my first chess sites. It continues to be one of my favourites.

anandrulez: Sorry to hear about Freeman. Don't know how many such unusual mates exist.
   Jun-25-18 Averbakh vs Polugaevsky, 1969
anandrulez: I think it was desperate because of the enormous pressure.
Jun-09-18 Karjakin vs Anand, 2018 (replies)
anandrulez: When I checked this game (round about Ng5), it was winning for White. Anand's play was unstable in this tournament.
Jun-07-18 Anand vs Caruana, 2018 (replies)
anandrulez: I wonder if there is time for slow maneuvers like 22. Bc2. Similarly allowing 28. ..Ne3 is also not logical.
