Hello all , CG is indeed one of the coolest chess sites . I am casual chess fan from India though I dont deny being obsessed by chess at times ! I used to play actively under the handle RahulDravid in Fics but now am trying to play less and watch more super GM games ... will try to get back to chess when I have more leisure time !

Jun-09-18 Karjakin vs Anand, 2018 (replies)
anandrulez: When I checked this game (round about Ng5), it was winning for White. Anand's play was unstable in this tournament.
Jun-07-18 Anand vs Caruana, 2018 (replies)
anandrulez: I wonder if there is time for slow maneuvers like 22. Bc2. Similarly allowing 28. ..Ne3 is also not logical.

anandrulez: <latebishop: Also 29.d6 prevents Black taking the rook when it gets to g3 with its queen.> Yes, thats it. But even if you don't get 29.d6 it is still fine.
   Apr-11-18 David Navara (replies)
anandrulez: Svidler said David Navara is probably one of most polite GM's he has ever played with. Apparently, when Jan Gustaffson offered a draw to David Navara, Navara politely said "If you don't mind too much, I would like to continue!". The game finally ended in a draw and Navara ...

anandrulez: Gooooooooooooooooooo Fabiano!
Mar-12-18 Aronian vs Kramnik, 2018 (replies)
anandrulez: Amazing game from Kramnik. Reminds me of the Aronian-Anand game from Corus 2013. The important question is Preparation or Calculation? It seemed like a preparation since 9..g5 is not a move that you would just play in an important tourney like this. If so, Team Kramnik is doing ...
Mar-07-18 Anand vs Grischuk, 2018 (replies)
anandrulez: <Marmot PFL:Unlucky for Grischuk, if he played 26...f6 to stop Ng5+ it's not clear where white's attack is going.> Yeah I think so too. Rxf7 is such a nice tactic to see OTB. But I think Grischuk was a bit overwhelmed by the position and didn't see Rxf7 like most of us. He ...

anandrulez: Can Mamedyarov do it?
