Apr-03-13 Aronian vs Anand, 2013 Apr-03-13 World Championship Candidates (2013)

arjunkakar: what i propose is "one grand slam" event a year - with rules more or less like this candidates tournament. Top 8 players invited. Huge prize money and lots at stake.

| | Dec-10-12 Anand vs Nakamura, 2012
| |
|
arjunkakar: Only Garry gets under Anand's skin. I say that because Anand reacts and snaps only at Garry and no one else. Its as if the phlegmatic Anand makes exception only to take a dig (back?) at Garry. Why that's so truly we don't know. It perhaps has to do something with very early on on

| | Dec-07-12 G Jones vs Anand, 2012
| |
|
arjunkakar: really looks like a complete mismatch. Might not go down as a classic game but perhaps this could be just the thing vishy needed at the moment.

| | Dec-03-12 T Binham vs P Horn, 1998
| |
|

| | Oct-12-12 Carlsen vs Anand, 2012 May-30-12 Anand-Gelfand World Chess Championship (2012)
| |
|

| | May-23-12 Gelfand vs Anand, 2012
| |
|
arjunkakar: In my humble opinion 19c5 was the mistake my gelfald instead of playing a D5 which would have have unraveled the pawn position of anand. Gelfald gave the control of the center instead = perhaps getting excites about gaining a queen. But he unraveled his entire position

| | May-20-12 Gelfand vs Anand, 2012
| |
|
arjunkakar: 21 ne4 was the turning point for me. Had he exchanged the rook - he be fine.

|
| | May-14-12 Anand vs Gelfand, 2012
| |
|
arjunkakar: Vishy is no longer that quick. If we closely follow his last few years games its not the first time he has been a bit behind on clock
