My favourite player(s) are Bobby Fischer(the smartest), Garry Kasparov(the best tactician), Tal(the wizard), Bronstein(the most Imaginative) and Kramnik(unarguarbly the best classical chess player), of them all, Bobby Fischer tops them. I live in the US. My rating is around 1900. I only started playing regularly and my rating could have changed since that time. I am catching up on the basics since I am quite sure I lag in some areas.

artspec: I forgot that the note above belonged to another forum, and I did not see the forum until today...yes, I think Fischer is better comparatively than even Kasparov is terms of raw playing ability and desire to win, but Kasparov would be more than a match for him, there is evidence ...

artspec: GM Amir Bagheri is indeed a gentleman. At the site where I am, he does more than his share to help anyone who needs assistance. He has my profound respect....I have not played him yet, I'd probably lose as I am not even titled, so I have to improve to that point, any how..
