Not a professional player ;-) I like Alekhine Defense... my favorite player?.... Mmmhhh may be Garry Kasparov

   Sep-29-12 Ljubojevic vs Alburt, 1985

atragon: Ljubo missed a mate but before Alburt missed a draw: 18. ... Kg7 is a blunder. Kh8 leads to a draw.

   Jun-04-12 A Boruchovsky vs B Savchenko, 2012

atragon: Amazing game... play a bit inaccurate by black... why 13... g6 instead of tempo-gaining 13... g5? And on 14. b4 better is 14... b6.

   Apr-28-12 C Rossi vs E Arlandi, 2012 (replies)

atragon: This player is Carlo Rossi, the name is written correctly.

Dec-31-11 R Blanco Estera vs Capablanca, 1902 (replies)

atragon: Very good and brave play from Estera. Capa was too strong for him (and not only for him...)and when you meet such a player you have to try to "kill" him, you cannot play for a draw. If you don't succeed, as in this game, it is not a shame.

   Nov-06-11 H S Gretarsson vs Shirov, 2011 (replies)

atragon: Gretarsson deserves much respect. It seems that this is not the typical "my computer is better than your computer" line and he played on purely intuitive bases. Bxf7 was probably wrong but Shirov played too many weak moves.

   Nov-04-11 Radjabov vs Caruana, 2011

atragon: This is a polite way of saying that in front of a complicated position and a strong opponent, the best thing is to do nothing after an hour of play. very nice

   Oct-30-11 P Casaschi vs N McDonald, 2010

atragon: 39. Bd5 and white is ok...

Oct-30-11 J Magem Badals vs Judit Polgar, 1994

atragon: It was a win for Magem but, as he said, he had only 10 seconds and 4 moves to go... he preferred a draw.

   Jan-02-11 M Godena vs Ivanchuk, 2011 (replies)

atragon: Godena always has time troubles. It's incredible he had never learned this lesson.

Oct-03-10 Kramnik vs Shirov, 2010 (replies)

atragon: 23. ... g6 looks like a blunder in a slightly worst position
