atripodi: Thanks for the delayed reply <Brown>. It seems like Markowski just likes to play both Reti and English systems, as 1.g3 doesn't restrict either 1...e5 or 1...d5 like 1.c4 or 1.Nf3 would. He also seems to like the weirdness that comes about when neither of these moves (or c5) ...
