Played tournament chess in the 70's(US),highest rating was 1950. I'm probably about a 'B' right now (I hope). I used to book a lot but I don't think I'll do too much of that anymore. I still love the game, but I don't want to get caught in its web again.

autom: I think 21.g5 avoids white's problems and leads to a drawish game.
   May-04-15 M Cebalo vs Vasiukov, 2014 (replies)
autom: I thought 11.Qf3 was the killer move as he must have forseen 12.Qd5! and probably the last move.

autom: After the moves, 21.Bf3 Be5 22.Rf1, I like Qh2+ 23.Kf2 Bg3+ 24.Ke2 and then Bg2 because the white rook on b2 is kept out of the action.

autom: Looking for a reason black should win, I found this combination: 33...Qe1+ 34.Kh2 Qxg3+ 35.Kxg3 Rxg6+ 36.Qxg6 hxg6 and eventually winning a pawn and probably the game.

autom: <StevieB> correction: 14.Bd5
   Jun-25-14 O Ulvestad vs G Holloway, 1952
autom: Playing thru the the game I noticed 10.Qh5+ and played it against Fritz and eked out a win being down a piece but having enough extra pawns.
Mar-29-14 Svidler vs Adams, 2000 (replies)
autom: Isn't 34.Rb6 stronger, winning the Q for the B? Or, what am I missing?
