Oct-03-17 Short vs Ljubojevic, 1987 (replies)
awfulhangover: Not too early to resign. White is forced to lose b or c-pawn too. Easy win for a strong player.
Jul-18-17 Borbely vs Kovacs, 1948 (replies)
awfulhangover: Easy or difficult? It really depends on whether you have seen this idea before or not. It's pattern recognition. Blitz chess monsters like Carlsen can play high level chess in blitz coz they have ten thousands of such patterns in their superb memory bank.
Jul-17-17 Flohr vs Bogoljubov, 1931 (replies)
awfulhangover: Took a long time to find. Since this is Monday, Komodo/Stockfish/Houdini/Fritz will be the only who solve Sunday.
   Mar-28-17 Spassky vs M Bieler, 2009 (replies)
awfulhangover: Very easy! It was Spassky who called Magnus a gnome, hence the "Norway Gnomes" chess team :-) Chookie!
   Mar-21-17 F Berkes vs M Neubauer, 2007 (replies)
awfulhangover: I looked and looked, but could only find Nxb5. Good for me :-)
Mar-09-17 Fischer vs Spassky, 1992 (replies)
awfulhangover: I went for 40. Ke4 and it seems to be correct too. My Komodo agrees.
   Feb-23-17 S Franklin vs R Norinkeviciute, 2007 (replies)
awfulhangover: Much easier than this Monday!
Feb-20-17 Lahno vs Kosteniuk, 2007 (replies)
awfulhangover: Ok, I "played" 33.Bxg7, but felt like an idiot, since I desperately had tried to find a "Monday attack". I tried to find a brutal win after 33. Ke8 or Ke7.
   Jan-16-17 L Machado vs K McDonald, 2016 (replies)
awfulhangover: Ok, I got i right, but I don't want to tell you the silly variations I looked at before I spotted it. Puhh ... lol
   Dec-21-16 V Soultanbeieff vs V Borodin, 1943 (replies)
awfulhangover: I feel utterly stupid (well, i am), coz I "forgot" that Qxf3 is answered by Qxf8#
