USCF about 1700. (haven't played OTB in 20 years).
Love the sicilian dragon as black, belgrade gambit in 4 knights as white. I drew with (a very young) Maxim Dlugy in 1980. I was a member and later president of the Columbia University chess club in the days when the first team was Salvatore Matera, Gary Klein and Robert Gruchacz

May-15-13 Norway Chess Tournament (2013) (replies)

belgradegambit: Naka trying an odd Dragondorf setup against Karjakin.

May-04-13 I Lesnik vs Joze Siska, 1948 (replies)

belgradegambit: The Yugoslav attack was young back in 1948. 11.Kb1 is the universal reply today since 11...Qa5 is met with 12. Nd5!

   May-04-13 Kayden W Troff (replies)

belgradegambit: Beating GM Stripunsky in the first round of the US Championship is yet another example of Troff unfairly gaining rating points.

Apr-18-13 FIDE Grand Prix Zug (2013) (replies)

belgradegambit: Karjakin may eventually be in Zug wang.

Apr-01-13 World Championship Candidates (2013) (replies)

belgradegambit: My current conspiracy theory is that Radjabov threw his game to Carlsen yesterday and Chucky played for the win today to prevent a Russian challenger to Anand.

   Mar-21-13 Jeremy Lim (replies)

belgradegambit: I have a blue 18-1 t-shirt. Pats didn't fare any better the next time either!

   Mar-11-13 I Krush vs A Ushenina, 2013 (replies)

belgradegambit: Irina bashes a second woman's world champ in less than a week! Black was worse but 38...Ra7? loses immediately/

   Jan-24-13 Sutovsky vs S Melia, 2013

belgradegambit: The "trick" 19.Rxd5 did not work out so well for White. I suppose Black who is better in the final position agreed to the draw in deference to his opponents much higher rating. 32...Qh1 would give white difficulties.

   Jan-03-13 Argue (replies)

belgradegambit: M: I came here for a good argument. A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument. M: An argument isn't just contradiction. A: It can be. M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition. A: No it isn't. M: Yes ...

   Dec-14-12 L Pantsulaia vs Judit Polgar, 2011

belgradegambit: Why hasn't this been a GOTD? Proposed title "Pain au Levan"
