I'm a Slovenian 15-years old chess enthusiast

I'm not rated, however I Can match with 1700-1800 players, but I rarely get a chance to play.

I will improve, because I have all WILL in the world.

My favorites: Tal, Capa, Planinc.

I expect Anand to beat Topa in next WC match.

Feb-27-06 Anand vs Piket, 1999 (replies)

bitko: Similar sacrifice in Shamkovich vs Benjamin, 1976 Only black KB is in different place, Anand obviously made hommage to Shamkovich's game.

   Feb-27-06 Tal vs R Skuja, 1955 (replies)

bitko: Yeah, black mustn't play 22 .. Re7 but 22 ..Rd8 and stands better I believe. Good game; Tal is so creative. Thanks for correction. AVE Tal!

Feb-26-06 Reti vs Kmoch, 1922 (replies)

bitko: Reti displays an excellent tehnique. Some moves in the latter part gives impression of Capa, while the opening is hypermodern.

Feb-25-06 Korchnoi vs Spassky, 1959 (replies)

bitko: Better exaple of Spassky's endgame tehique. Applause. This endgame is not easy to won, especially against Victor.

   Feb-25-06 Korchnoi vs J L Arnason, 1987 (replies)

bitko: Humorous game. Vicky dominated.

Feb-25-06 Stanishevsky vs Nikonov, 1981 (replies)

bitko: Rolling Stones pun.

Feb-07-06 Portisch vs Tal, 1964 (replies)

bitko: Another draw with opposite coloured bishops !

   Sep-23-05 Roesch vs W Schlage, 1910 (replies)

bitko: By the way: Kubrick defeated George C. Scott (Hollywood heavyweight champion) on the set of Strangelove.

Aug-07-05 Staunton vs NN, 1855 (replies)

bitko: White's 29. br was mistake. He could give checkmate w/ Qa3.
