Dec-05-17 Karjakin vs Caruana, 2017 (replies)
blackdranzer: This game has almost refuted the Qf3 line. White wastes two tempi with the queen to stop black from casting , or making it difficult...and black gives up totally on casting k.s and makes many pawn moves on that side of the board. I think black had a very significant advantage ...

blackdranzer: i think such drastic change in the rules, as suggested by some members here, will kill the chess as we know it. Instead, 1. offering draws should be made illegal till both players make the time control, i.e., move 40. 2. Drawing with black should have some extra benefits than ...

blackdranzer: Frogbert, I think it was Magnus who was defending ...After the seemingly new move 9.b3, white should have continued with Bb2, but after Bf4 Nd7 and Nf8, white was worse because now black can bring his bishop out to f5 or g4 without worrying about the b7 pawn. So, the whole ...

blackdranzer: So, what's up with <chrisowen> ? Is that some kind of secret language that only kibitzers here understand ?

blackdranzer: Ulhumbrus ..I don't mean to offend but some of your analysis is wrong . Not just this post but as I have observed. Sometimes the suggested moves ( which you suggest ) are worse although it might have some logic behind, like Bd2 connecting the rooms and so on.

blackdranzer: The fact of the matter tutti fruity, is that magnus is better than so has ever been, irrespective of the style they adopt. I think magnus was right in claiming that Wesley does not take much risks. Magnus plays precise and hard to play OTB moves. Yes, he does take advantage of ...
   Aug-06-17 Carlsen vs M Vachier-Lagrave, 2017 (replies)
blackdranzer: Magnus vs MVL was a very great game. It seemed to me that magnus saw the almost winning continuation with 46. Rd2, but he was so bent on proving that his a6 pawn was not misplaced, he played the unclear Rg2. It's like saying .." I just don't want to win , I want to win ...

blackdranzer: Karyakin blunders like a patzer after a long think...magnus finally winning
