   Sep-11-04 J Mieses vs Albin, 1903 (replies)
bob725: Thank you Ron. I have just had a look at the Thursday puzzle and I was successful!
   Sep-03-04 Taimanov vs A Shashin, 1978 (replies)
bob725: Instead of Rg1 I played G7 first.
   Sep-02-04 L Filatov vs S F Mayer, 2000 (replies)
bob725: I took the H7 pawn with the bishop and then took the G7 pawn with the black bishop followed by queen G4 with follow up by the rook to F3 and Mate later. Would this sequence work as well?
   Aug-31-04 R Krogius vs A Ojanen, 1944 (replies)
bob725: I saw up to move BF4 on move 11 but my move 12 was Rook D1 , king C5 ( if take pawn then mate within few moves ). Then Rook C1 check and then ... Almost anyway!!!
   Aug-30-04 E Eliskases vs P Frydman, 1938 (replies)
bob725: I got this!!! It is quite crafty for a Monday puzzle. The key to solving this for myself was the realisation that black's bishop could not move freely without giving up his queen.
Aug-29-04 Tarrasch vs Romberg, 1893 (replies)
bob725: But the checkmate in this game is So Beautiful.
Aug-21-04 Anand vs Dreev, 1991 (replies)
bob725: I got nxd5 and then e6. nothing else.
   Aug-15-04 L Shamkovich vs A Anguiano, 1978 (replies)
bob725: Mine was knight x F7 , king x knight Queen f5 then king ?f8/g8 bishop x e6 queen to g6 with bishop perhaps taking h6 if king pinned. At least I had the idea of crashing through king's defences right but I got the whole strategy wrong.Oh well!
Aug-12-04 Duras vs Spielmann, 1912 (replies)
bob725: Again no! Got queen g3 and foresaw balck queen taking pawn but lost my way after that.
Aug-11-04 Velimirovic vs Csom, 1974 (replies)
bob725: Nooooooooooooooo. My 2 run streak ended so prematurely. My move was rook x pawn d4.
