Jan-15-19 Carlsen vs Kramnik, 2019 (replies)

boz: A draw for Kramnik here will boost his morale.

   Dec-12-18 Leo Carty

boz: He made his mark.

Dec-11-18 Miles vs Polugaevsky, 1984 (replies)

boz: Riveting

Dec-05-18 Carlsen - Caruana World Championship Match (2018) (replies)

boz: I didn't find the Tisdall piece bad compared to most of the worthless articles out there. My own not unique takeaway from the match is that at this stage in chess history the short 12-game format is producing very cautious play.

   Nov-28-18 Fabiano Caruana (replies)

boz: Best regards to Caruana. He gave it everything he had. Magnus is simply too strong.

Nov-28-18 Caruana vs Carlsen, 2018 (replies)

boz: Makes you wonder what the Caruana team liked about these 7.Nd5 Sveshnikov Variations.

Nov-28-18 Carlsen vs Caruana, 2018 (replies)

boz: I wonder how the players get warmed up for this?

Nov-26-18 Caruana vs Carlsen, 2018 (replies)

boz: <The reason is simple (though GK will never admit it) and has yet been told by Shirov: he simply wanted to let Kramnik win the title, hoping to attract big sponsors for a possible (probable in his mind) rematch.> That must be why Kasparov agreed that there would be no rematch ...
