technical draw: Will do, <JB>. Hey <chancho> bring beer, the party's on!
Nov-17-09   Jim Bartle: Oops, sorry, forget it, don't need money now. Just learned I'm going to get $6,400,000 from Nigeria.

technical draw: You better be careful Jim. Those Nigerian deal are a little hard to understand. Send me $100,000 and I'll do the paperwork for you and that way we can be sure you'll get what you deserve.
Nov-17-09   Jim Bartle: I'm not interested in "getting what I deserve." I want some cash.

jessicafischerqueen: <chancho> thanks so much for your concern and well-wishing.

And especially thanks for your ability to dig up these very cheeful, sunny songs by people I never heard of before~~!!

Edison Lighthouse? heh

I remember the last one was SKY ROCKETS IN FLIGHT, AFTERNOON DELIIIIIIIIIGHT

which I think might have been about "naughty things."

Starland Vocal Band that was.

Did you know that apparently <more> than everything every done ever by everybody is now posted on youtube?

I found this and thought I'd drop it for you.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyZ0...

Here is the introduction:
<Música do Show da banda de rock progressivo Genesis em 1973. Com Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Tony Banks, Stephen Hackett e Michael Rutherford.>

Now the guy who posted this says this song can now be enjoyed with <Legendado em Português.>

That means "subtitles in Portuguese," right?

So as you see he's supplied Portuguese subtitles for this video...

Except they are actually Spanish?

????

Possibly you can clear this up for me, senor. I'm no expert but I'm almost sure that Portuguese is a different langauge than Spanish.

I just dropped the same thing in <Travis'> house, but the version I gave him was the footage of this concert joined to a digitally remastered version of the studio version of the song, telesynced to the performance.

This LEGENDADO version is the original soundtrack recording from the live show in Shepperton in 1973.

Anyhoo there's a long winded description of this sequence in <Travis'> house-

It's my favorite piece of music- by far.

Which is why i keep posting it all the time at a chess website.
