dafish298: Kamsky just beat svidler! This is amazing..he just beat the worlds #1, 2, and 4 ranked players...he has probably gained at least 40 elo points already and is easily over 2700 again. WOW! This is great America finally has someone better than nakamura!

dafish298: <sisyphus> yea he has been increasingly successful at the amber tournament. Who knows? maybe he has progressed enough and will have a chance at this tournament..its still Anand though and he is a beast

   Apr-29-06 Kramnik-Topalov World Championship Match (2006) (replies)

dafish298: in the latest chessbase article it had excerpts from the interview of the two players and also stated that each player will be allowed to have 4 persons as 'seconds' or trainers for the match! I am very interested to see who Kramnik's seconds will be. All he will say is that one ...

dafish298: <babakova> those aren't fischer demands, it seems you are just being a spoiled brat...fischer made demands, but he was also a champion, and being the best comes with perks like that..no offense to you but you are in no position to act like that and you are just being rude ...

dafish298: i think <vesivialy93> should be permanently banned from this website just for his horrible grammar..my dog could write better than that..not to mention every single statement he said was a lie or mistatement.

dafish298: that rating is probably fairly accuruate..she probably played alot of 2200+ players and lost and then had a draw or some wins against players rated under 2000 FIDE..fide rating system is very different than uscf

   Mar-09-06 US Championship 2006 (2006) (replies)

dafish298: theoretically there is a very good chance nakamura could still win. because of the fact that they split it into 2 sections (which i really dont know if thats good or bad because it forces the speed playoff between the winners), now a lesser score is needed to win the section. So ...
