Jan-20-15 Tata Steel Masters (2015) (replies)

dycotiles: Carlsen is about to win again. Radja just blundered!

   Jun-05-14 Norway Chess (2014) (replies)

dycotiles: And maybe Carlsen is gonna get away with it ...

   Apr-29-14 Gashimov Memorial (2014) (replies)

dycotiles: Man you have to give it to Carlsen, he just keeps going on and on and on and on when others may have just been happy with a draw long ago ...

Nov-16-13 Anand - Carlsen World Championship Match (2013) (replies)

dycotiles: It's official 0-1!

Jul-26-11 Biel Chess Festival (2011) (replies)

dycotiles: <The Rocket: <"Shirov seems to be out of Carlsen league now."> Not quite.... he indirectly declined a draw by playing the move a4. Carlsen would be forced to accept a draw with other solid moves like qh5 since white is slightly better.> Shirov is rated about 100 points

May-24-11 World Championship Candidates Final (2011) (replies)

dycotiles: <bronkenstein> you are trying to defend the indefensible. At the end of the day, chessplayers do not have a God given right to earn money playing chess. Somebody has to pay them to do so, and that somebody has to see the benefit of it. It is clear that if the games get ...

May-22-11 Grischuk vs Gelfand, 2011 (replies)

dycotiles: This is way neither Grishuck or Gelfand will ever be world champs. Would you imagine someone like Carlsen or Anand having black here? They would make you suffer. They'll punish you. These man (G&G) have no will to win. I hope whoever classifies gets sorely crushed by Anand!

Dec-12-10 London Chess Classic (2010) (replies)

dycotiles: <MWYOUNG> Well, the idea of the new scoring system is to encourage players to play for wins. There have been 12 decisive games out of 20 so far, that's 60% which is very good. With the old scoring system we problably wouldn't be seeing such an exciting tournament!

Oct-09-10 Grand Slam Chess Final (2010) (replies)

dycotiles: <Mr. Bojangles> Kasparov blundered and lost. The game was exciting because of all the tactics involved, and it won the most interesting game prize from the journalists. However, it was not a brilliancy prize, just a prize awarded subjectively by the journalists to the game ...

Sep-25-10 Carlsen vs Galego, 2010 (replies)

dycotiles: Carlsen missed a mate in 11 after 35.Qd4+ Qg7
