ed gantro: Today for me is ok! I started analyzing 44...e6, but whithout results. 44...g5! is the solution, with a sequence of forced moves: 45.Kxg5 Re5+, 46.Kf4 Rf5+, 47.Ke3 d4+!, winning the rook.
If 44...Kh6, white can escape from mate with 45.g4, and i think he have a best position too ...
