Nov-23-16 Karjakin vs Carlsen, 2016 (replies)

fish1800: Oh,too late that was earlier

   Mar-11-15 J van Ruitenburg vs A van Hoeve, 2001

fish1800: Bishop just chops the knight off the board.

Jan-17-15 Nakamura vs Kramnik, 2012 (replies)

fish1800: Does black get in trouble with 8.. exf4? I don't see it but white must have something there.

   Nov-27-11 L Christiansen vs S Bouaziz, 1987 (replies)

fish1800: Can black really not play 6...gxh4?

   Mar-09-09 W Michel vs Alekhine, 1925 (replies)

fish1800: Just looking with my no computer assisted eye it looks like 21....gxf5 works out better. One line :22 Qxf5 + Rg6(any other move ends in mate)23.Bxc6 where white ends up a pawn up with a better position but black isn't completely lost.

   Nov-30-08 N Sorokin vs Y Vilner, 1929 (replies)

fish1800: Yes 21. Rf2 clearly wins. Good work! I doubt I would have seen all of that otb.

   Aug-18-08 Kasimdzhanov vs Sutovsky, 2001

fish1800: If you have MCO 15th edition this game is referenced with the incorrect 19th move of ...Nf6 instead of ....Nb6.

   Aug-17-08 G Garcia vs Fischer, 1965 (replies)

fish1800: Can somebody explain 43. Nxd5? What was Garcia thinking?

   Jan-06-08 R Eames vs K A Islam, 2008

fish1800: Was it imperative to give up the knight or can black extend thigs with 20... g6 or something?

   Feb-11-07 Dzindzichashvili vs Karpov, 1988

fish1800: I tried 18...Nd7 against Hoopdream's suggestion in an e-mail game of 18. Rh3 and hung on after 19. h5 g5. The game ended in a draw. I later checked with Shredder which did give white an advantage but no clear win. At any rate Hoopdreams move may be stronger than what was played.
