fyad reject: i considered and rejected the winning move - i could not find 46. Rxf7+ and thought the sacrifice went nowhere best i could find was 44. Qf5 which i think wins the knight but not even sure about that this was in spite of the fact that i couldn't find anything useful for the rook

fyad reject: i think part of the reason i didnt pursue Nf6 was because i felt that the primary purpose of the knight move was to deliver check, and Nxd6 served that purpose and also took material, while Nf6 merely delivered check without taking material. i did not realize that Nf6 is ...
