Skipping my early infancy, childhood and adolescence, we come to this, the golden period of my life where I have suddenly acquired the ability to understand chess moves. I have just figured out that the moves are not random and that, infact, a considerable amount of thought goes into it. Intrigued, I have joined this wise little forum in the hope of understanding the game better. Please, be gentle.
