<rookhouse - As it was pointed out earlier, the bogus book magically appeared after Fischer's death.>

The book was auctioned on eBay in December of 2007 while Fischer was very much alive. Many websites and blogs around the world mentioned this. I 1st heard about it then too.

Once the auction was stopped "everything went underground" out of fear. Now that it is obvious that Fischer must have been involved people are talking about it again.

Whether Fischer could have done this legally or not is another question and besides the point. He couldn't legally play Spassky in 1992 and that didn't stop him.

Some history about this next rookhouse lie. Another person named robmtchl denied that he posted to another blog about something. I contacted the blog owner and he said that robmtchl did. I attacked robmtchl and he was man enough to admit his mistake in a calm fashion. Before robmtchl recanted his statement and admitted his error, rookhouse claimed I made this up. So, this is another rookhouse lie. I appreciate robmtchl admitting his mistake and I believe it was not deliberate, unlike the lying rookhouse.
