I live in Brasília, capital of Brazil.
I have a local rating (Chess Federation of Federal District) of 2112 on Rapid. I have played only one or two OTB tournaments by year. I practically stopped to play OTB tournaments since GK vs WT match and have played games via internet in the letsplaychess.com site. In the last seven years I have played with WT group some games. WT group has some players that played GK match and others players that joined WT during that time. My favorite players: Fischer (elected the best of 20th century), Kasparov, Kramnik, Smyslov and Anand.

hcbsb: hcbsb: IMHO, with a point ahead, the draw against Ponomariov, without risk, was a good result as a strategy to win the tournament. To win a tournament and some money it is not necessary to play all games to win, but avoiding some risks when it is possible, this is the professional ...
