May-20-13 FIDE Grand Prix Thessaloniki (2013) (replies)

hellopolgar: This is Hikaru Nakamura 's best opportunity to win his first Grand Prix. The only person that he had trouble with in the past is Peter Svidler who is pretty tired at this point. So I wouldn't be surprised if he goes +5 and wins this.

   May-20-13 Wang Hao

hellopolgar: Sorry my bad! I am not sure if Ding Liren will play enough chess to break 2750 but I am pretty sure he is slightly better than Wang Hao as you can see here http://www.chessgames.com/perl/ches...

   May-17-13 Alexander Beliavsky

hellopolgar: So both Alexander Beliavsky and Anna Muzychuk are Ukrainian that emigrated to Slovenia. It seems that Slovenia is a lot richer than Ukraine. (GDP Per capita is 22,192 vs 7,598)

May-17-13 European Individual Championships (2013) (replies)

hellopolgar: IMPRESSIVE performance from the 60-year-old Alexander Beliavsky

May-17-13 Norway Chess Tournament (2013) (replies)

hellopolgar: Well, I have nothing against Magnus Carlsen but I believe in karma---after winning so many drawish end games, he finally lost one. And I am happy to see that happen!

   May-17-13 Winthrop Beach

hellopolgar: Wait a minute... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winthr...

   May-17-13 Bela Khotenashvili

hellopolgar: Ah, I see, thanks!

May-13-13 Anand vs Nakamura, 2013 (replies)

hellopolgar: Someone come up with a pun for this game with the word "b4" (before) in it already.

   May-08-13 B Tuvshintugs vs T Kosintseva, 2013

hellopolgar: You don't nee an engine to feel that black missed many opportunities in this game.

May-08-13 Karjakin vs Radjabov, 2013 (replies)

hellopolgar: Looks like Teimour Radjabov 's rating slide continues. I feel sorry for him. Once upon a time, I felt that he could over-take Magnus Carlsen . Silly me.
