My play is reminiscent of Tal's in that I look to sacrifice my queen, then a rook, then a bishop, etc. Only I usually take it one step further and sacrifice my king first.

jaaron11: <kevin86> True enough at the lower levels. I meant that it's rare to see a forced mate among players who are rated high enough for their games to be posted on this site.

   Oct-05-06 Kramnik-Topalov World Championship Match (2006) (replies)

jaaron11: Topalov is in a no win situation in this match. If he loses, he gives up his crown. If he wins, chess fans and players will say that Kramnik couldn't play his best chess due to all the mind games and accusations. The only way Topalov can claim an honest victory is to give back game

   Aug-03-06 Carlsen vs L Bruzon, 2006 (replies)

jaaron11: I don't think Magnus is making moves based on Bruzon's clock. The time trouble isn't that bad yet, and the position requires too much precision for him to take that risk.

jaaron11: If I can beat LCP, it's definitely weaker than 2000.

Jul-27-06 Morozevich vs Radjabov, 2006 (replies)

jaaron11: Start pushing the a pawn now?

   Jul-27-06 L Bruzon vs Carlsen, 2006 (replies)

jaaron11: Someone tell Bruzon this is not a correspondence game.

Jul-26-06 Radjabov vs Carlsen, 2006 (replies)

jaaron11: Radja is creating tempo problems for Carlsen.

Jul-25-06 Carlsen vs Morozevich, 2006 (replies)

jaaron11: What was wrong with 31.Qxc6 Rxe5 32.Nf7+ Qxf7 33.Qxa8+ ?
