   Aug-15-06 A Kosten vs R Zelcic, 1992 (replies)

jesterco12: What if 76.Qc7 ? Puts pressure on the f7 square, which I can't see a way for black to defend...

jesterco12: A lot of the games I've played recently online have gone into the Philidor defense, 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 d6 3. Bc4 but my opponents seem to love to play Be6 as a respone to Bc4. I feel like this is a poor response, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about exploiting its weakenesses? ...

   May-07-06 V Sokolov vs Rusnikov, 1966 (replies)

jesterco12: <pjw> After 19...b1=Q, white plays 20. Re1+, which either picks up the new queen or leads to mate.

   Aug-03-05 A Kislinsky vs S Pavlov, 2005 (replies)

jesterco12: 29...fxg6 30. Rxg6+ Kh7 31. Rxg5+ Bf5 32. Bxf5#

   Jun-24-05 M Turov vs T Nedev, 2001

jesterco12: After 16...f5, 17. Qb3+ and black is in some trouble.

   Apr-25-05 Topalov vs C Cruz-Lopez, 1991 (replies)

jesterco12: Why not 10. Rxa6 bxa6 11. Nc7+ Kd8 12. Nxa8 ?

Mar-20-05 Waitzkin vs Shabalov, 1994 (replies)

jesterco12: 16...Nxc2 17. Qc3+ Nd4 keeps the material, but after 18. Nxd4 cd 19. Qxd4+, white's got all sorts of open lines to the black king and it would get ugly, so black was probably smarter not playing 16...Nxc2

Feb-16-05 Koltanowski vs Terry Allen, 1960 (replies)

jesterco12: I feel dumb. I don't understand the problem here.

Jan-31-05 Greco vs NN, 1620 (replies)

jesterco12: Because after 8...cxd5 9. Bxd5, black has no way of saving the a8 rook.

   Dec-19-04 S M Iglesias vs L Carrera-Casado, 2001 (replies)

jesterco12: I'm pretty sure these are kids under 12. Look at the rest of Carrera-Casado's games. Some of them are from an under 12 tourney and all of them include huge blunders on one of the players part.
