karlzen: <Hinchliffe>, here and there. Not too active here lately. :)

karlzen: I don't get this. How can Kasparov play like this? Apparently he wins the tournament anyway, but this is very odd.

karlzen: What is Anand doing? Vallejo is almost winning.

karlzen: <TigerPawns>, on 51.Rxh5 gxh5 white can't win. Black will play something like Kg6, f5 and white's only try is g2-g4 but that leaves white with only one pawn and bishop versus knight. Black's king simply gets to a light square and blocks white's remaining pawn, a simple draw.

karlzen: <JohnBoy>, thank you for your too kind words. <Knowing that there is an available solution makes a puzzle much easier to solve.> I couldn't agree more. :)

karlzen: I believe it is time to look for earlier improvements of white's play. 35.Nd2 seems much to passive and 35.axb6 axb6 36.Re1 looks pretty good for white actually. It's probably a draw but I'd rather be white, I think.

karlzen: Ah, black is intending to bring her knight back into play with Na6xb4. What should white do? If he piles up on the g-file, black just contests with Rg7. I don't see any compensation for white.
