   May-19-17 Grischuk vs B Grachev, 2017 (replies)

kdogphs: First try! I've noticed the interference theme throughout this week's puzzles and figured that Rb5 was correct, and it was!

May-18-17 Gelfand vs Harikrishna, 2017 (replies)

kdogphs: 27) Nxf7! Nice move leading to a fork on move 28. Superb play by Gelfand. One of my favorite GMs!

   May-16-17 S Fairbairn vs A Zozulia, 2007 (replies)

kdogphs: I got it, changed my mind, then looked at the game... dagnabbit...

   May-11-17 D Howell vs R Jumabayev, 2016 (replies)

kdogphs: Interference! Underutilized tactic.

   May-01-17 M Wecker vs A Petursson, 2017 (replies)

kdogphs: Deflection... checkmate... does not get much easier yes?

   Apr-21-17 A Moiseenko vs A Sumets, 2017

kdogphs: A very entertaining game here by Moiseenko! Underrated GM IMHO!

   Apr-21-17 E Inarkiev vs Svidler, 2016 (replies)

kdogphs: I thought Nxh7 followed by a queen move to the h-file...

   Apr-12-17 Uhlmann vs Korchnoi, 1972

kdogphs: 39% of Korchnoi's moves were queen moves. A 1200 like yours truly could not get away with playing a game like this, getting his queen into the action early and getting away with it! Korchnoi was without a doubt one of the most creative players in chess history.

Apr-07-17 Kamsky vs Akobian, 2017 (replies)

kdogphs: Pretty good Sunday puzzle yes?

   Apr-03-17 H Horta vs W Palmkoeck, 1999 (replies)

kdogphs: It's a Star Trek reference from the Horta monster from the episode "Devil in the Dark", one of my all time favorites.
