kingfu: Travis Bickle! Did you have the good grace to say to your assailants - Are you Talkin' to ME???
   Oct-09-17 C Koepke vs B Wettermann, 2006
kingfu: Draw? Would 16...Nxg2 work? Or at least be fun??
   Jul-30-17 Short vs S Agdestein, 2017 (replies)
kingfu: 6...b6 is a new move in this position. I guess that is Uncommon at move 6. It looks like a Queen's Indian after a few more moves.
   Jul-15-17 Benko vs Fischer, 1962
kingfu: I wonder if Fischer expected Benko to go into a King's Indian. Fischer was +28 as Black in the King's Indian defense. Not so good in the Pirc. Still, Fischer could have had a good opening with 8...a5. Transpositions can be a great tool to get your opponent into unknown positions.

kingfu: Happy Birthday. Great quotes from you about Chess. Thank you Focus. I like the one about Viktor.
Jul-12-17 Yifan Hou vs R Rapport, 2017 (replies)
kingfu: Interesting point. I am doing some research on Be7 after I do more research on h6 and g6 like this game. Chapter 1 of The Giuoco Piano - Where to put the Black King Bishop? Bc5, Be7, Bg6? I think we should learn all 3! Thank You Calar. Always more work to do!
   Jul-06-17 R Rapport vs I Nepomniachtchi, 2017 (replies)
kingfu: Rapport pulled off a classical move order job with an early a3. Nepom could have had a better game with an early g5 instead of Nc6.
   Jul-06-17 Garry Kasparov (replies)
kingfu: Does anybody know of any Simultaneous exhibitions at this event? Not necessarily Weinstein but ANY Grandmasters? Nakamura, So and Caruana all live in Saint Louis.
Jun-28-17 Seirawan vs Tal, 1988 (replies)
kingfu: That's our Viktor! If you played the French Defense almost 400 times in your career, you would be cranky, too.
   Jun-27-17 Robert James Fischer (replies)
kingfu: Ah, The Fischer Monster discussion. It never stops. I have not been here in a long time and it is still going strong! I never get tired of the group trying to figure out the psychology / temperament / personality issues. It is fun trying! This could easily be a career for someone. ...
